A thorough research phase laid the foundation for this product. The team observed work in intensive care units and internal departments at three hospitals, Rambam, Assaf Harofeh and Beilinson, and interviewed nurses, doctors and other staff.

The research led to early agreement on direction: ease of use and a lower chance of error. Nurses also shaped the design language. Shown several concepts, they chose the most user-friendly design, and the color blue.
