Spine surgery instrumentation

The design process for the spine surgery trays and instruments was centered on creating an intelligent navigation system to streamline surgical workflows and enhance safety. The primary goal was to alleviate the workload of medical staff while minimizing the risk of accidents caused by misuse.

The tools were organized in trays based on the surgical workflow, ensuring that each instrument was easily accessible and logically placed. To facilitate quick identification, the components of the system were color-coded according to size, adding a layer of visual clarity to the organization.

The strategic arrangement ensures that tools requiring paired usage are placed together, with one positioned directly atop the other. This design effectively promotes correct usage, streamlining the workflow and enhancing both efficiency and precision during procedures. The design process also prioritized ergonomic considerations and user interface optimization, resulting in trays and instruments that are intuitive and easy to use.
